Intangible cultural heritage, such as music, often becomes the symbol of urban spaces. One example is fado, a music genre that originated in Lisbon, Portugal. With the increasing prominence of fado as a cultural heritage, an increasing number of tourists are attracted to fado shows. In this context, this study seeks to answer the following research question: “How do emotion and authenticity relate to visitors’ overall satisfaction in fado venues?”. Based on mixed methods research (descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and content analysis), 2653 TripAdvisor reviews of four fado venues in Lisbon were analyzed. We conclude that although both authenticity and emotion are highly associated with overall satisfaction, lack of authenticity was not markedly associated with dissatisfaction. In the last few decades, the foreign resident population in Italy has grown considerably, showing a tendency towards a stable settlement. The spatial distribution of this population is an important key to better understanding the integration process in the host society. This paper aims to explore the diachronic evolution of the settlement models of the foreign population and the main ethnic groups usually classified as residents in Italy in the period 2003–2021. Towards this aim, we computed statistical global indices referring to evenness, concentration, and clustering dimension of residential segregation and ad hoc indices that regard territorial dimensions. Purpose: In this paper we present Geocraft, a Geo-ICT framework meant to provide the information needed to support the development of smart cities in an accessible and user-friendly way. We explored whether Geocraft could be an effective way to get the people of the place, especially youth, involved in geospatial issues.Methodology/Approach:Geocraft is a virtual environment in which we import real geospatial data into the gaming environment of the popular computer game Minecraft. Cairo's overcrowded streets highlight the decline of Egypt's street life, with informal activities resulting from uncontrolled commercial and mixed-use developments. Tactical Urbanism can help fulfill basic human needs in public spaces by converting informal activities to formal ones that meet user needs. This study aims to investigate informal activities in Downtown Cairo's main streets and measure their impact on public space users using a Likert-scale questionnaire. Then, the research proposes suitable tactics and tools based on tactical urbanism principles that were validated through conducting a second Likert-scale questionnaire. Both questionnaires were analyzed and compared via Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) through descriptive and inferential methods. The findings indicate that well-organizing informal activities following the tactical urbanism principles with low cost and in a short period of time, fulfill people's aspirations and requirements and positively affect the quality attributes of the public spaces in Downtown, Cairo.

Cette thèse en anthropologie, réalisée dans le cadre d’une ethnographie de longue durée en immersion, porte sur les quartiers de Rocinha, une favela de Rio de Janeiro au Brésil et celui des Minguettes à Vénissieux dans l’agglomération lyonnaise. Elle traite des processus de domination raciale et sociale spécifiques qui s’y exercent, hérités d’une histoire esclavagiste et coloniale et de sa définition d’une altérité au centre des processus d’exclusion actuels subis par les populations. Cette altérité, construite comme ennemi de l’intérieur (Rigouste, 2009), s’exprime au travers de l’élaboration de figures types, celle du «bandido» au Brésil et celle de la «racaille» en France. Cette thèse s’intéresse à la construction de ces figures et à leur réappropriation par la population, au travers des musiques funk et rap, dans une démarche de revendication identitaire et de réappropriation culturelle par un retournement de stigmate. Nous observons ainsi comment au travers de la musique, s’expriment des revendications identitaires et une réappropriation culturelle illustrant une volonté de lutte contre un système raciste structurant hérité du système colonial et le potentiel révolutionnaire de ces quartiers face à l’ordre social et racial actuel de leurs sociétés.

The article analyses the problem of the relationship and interaction between urban design and landscape architecture. This refers to the period of the modern city from the late nineteenth century to the present day. There are presented and discussed urbanization processes and examples of solutions with emphasis on problems arising from the relationship between a city and nature as well as those related to urban landscape and sustainability of urban landscaping in the twentieth century.

У статті проаналізовано особливості позиціонування сучасних українських мігрантів, які проживають у США,  щодо референтних груп, пов’язаних з українським суспільством і співвітчизниками в Україні. Розглянуто контекст звернення українських мігрантів до певного типу референтних груп у межах їх самоідентифікацій і розповідей про життя в США. Виокремлено риси, якими наділяються ці групи. Встановлено приписувані їм
значення і роль у житті на новому місці, а також їх співвідношення з іншими типами референтних груп (місцевими
етнічними та американськими), які є складовою частиною ідентичності українських мігрантів.
З’ясовано, що у мігрантів першого покоління ідентифікація зі співвітчизниками в Україні зазнала трансформації,  що характеризується різнобічною спрямованістю. В одних випадках – ослаблення ідентифікації або її повне зникнення, в інших – посилення або виникнення вперше.
Виявлено взаємозв’язок між особливостями позиціонування мігрантів щодо українських референтних груп і ступенем соціальної адаптації мігрантів. Визначено специфіку використання референтних груп українськими мігрантами
у контексті їхнього впливу на стратегії соціальної адаптації мігрантів, а також на їхнє соціальне просування.

Mumbai's suburban railway network is one of the largest, most densely-packed public transport systems in the world. Known as the city's 'lifeline,' these trains carry eight million commuters every day and provide critical suburban and regional connectivity. Drawing on fieldwork at a railway carshed, this article uses infrastructural care as an analytic to ethnographically explore how practices of preventive and corrective maintenance not only repair trains but are also crucial in maintaining spatiotemporal flows produced by urban infrastructures. Repair and maintenance involve a distribution and convergence of human and nonhuman agencies that simultaneously reveals the ontological multiplicity of trains while also stabilising them as sociotechnical assemblages. In doing so, repair attempts to render faults knowable to predict and prevent failures, which then instantiates new routines across the traction rolling stock. However, carshed engineers also face bureaucratic pressures of ensuring both punctuality and safety, thus necessitating the managing of maintenance within increasingly saturated capacities.

Esta es una invitación a pensar el viaje como un aprendizaje y a desarrollar a través de su travesía la imaginación geográfica, que surge justo de la posibilidad de ampliar nuestra visión del paisaje recorrido.
Mi propuesta se materializa en esta narrativa geo-histórica personal y quizás anecdótica de un momento particular que reúne dos acontecimientos, por un lado, mi traslado de residencia, que se desarrolla en un viaje de tres días por tierra en auto desde Bogotá hasta Pasto, en el sur-occidente colombiano y la llegada de la pandemia COVID-19. Dos retos que plantearon una ruptura en mi vida tanto profesional
como personal y que permitieron en su momento escribir esta pequeña historia, la cual se irá ampliando en aquel camino que conduzca a la creación de nuevas y creativas geografías.
ABSTRACT
This is an invitation to think of the journey as an apprenticeship and to develop through its trajectory the geographical imagination, which arises precisely from the possibility of broadening our vision of the
landscape traveled. My proposal is materialized in this personal and perhaps anecdotal geo-historical narrative, which starts from a particular moment that brings together two events, on the one hand,
my transfer of residence that takes place in a three-day journey by car from Bogota to Pasto in the southwest of Colombia and the arrival of the COVID 19 pandemic in that same year 2020. Two challenges
that posed a break in my life both professionally and personally and that allowed me to write this little story, which will be expanded in that path that leads to the creation of new and creative geographies.

Este é um convite para pensar a viagem como um aprendizado e desenvolver a imaginação geográfica por meio de seu percurso, que surge justamente da possibilidade de ampliar nossa visão sobre a paisagem
percorrida. Minha proposta se materializa nesta narrativa geo-histórica pessoal e talvez anedótica de um momento particular que reúne dois eventos, por um lado, minha transferência de residência, que ocorre em uma viagem de carro de três dias de Bogotá a Pasto, no sudoeste da Colômbia e a chegada da pandemia de COVID-19. Dois desafios que provocaram uma ruptura na minha vida profissional e pessoal
e que me permitiram escrever na altura este conto, que continuará a expandir-se nesse caminho que conduz à criação de novas e criativas geografias.

The aim of this study was to analyze the da’wah activities carried out by DKM Nurul Iman. The research used the management activities POLC (Planning, organizing, leading, and controlling) by Stephen Robbins. Used a qualitative-descriptive approach with a case study method. Data collections are derived from interviews, observations, literature studies, the social media activities of Nurul Iman Blok M Square Mosque, and other supporting documents. The results showed that the dakwah communication management activities carried out by DKM Nurul Iman were due to cooperation with da'wah partners, such as preachers, majelis taklim, and study communities managed by young people (millennials). This research paper proposes that the administration of street vending in Bangkok is consistent but not compatible with changes in the economic and social situation in Thailand as well as the growth of street vending around the world as well as increasing appreciation of its important role. To support this argument, the paper presents the policy measures on street vending since the founding of Bangkok in 1973, the paradigm shift in employment since the Asian Economic Crisis in 1997, and empirical data from a study of street vending in four districts in Bangkok in 2016. The study collected data from street vendors and buyers in Bangrak, Pathumwan, Phranakhon and Samphanthawong. The gentrification processes in the center of Madrid and surrounding districts are going through new stages, linked to the intensification of phenomena such as tourism and digital economies, that represent new battle fronts. This article explores the case of the building located on Calle Divino Pastor nr 9, in the Madrid neighborhood of Malasaña. In it, the sale and reform of an old public headquarters takes place, previously squatted and claimed as a social center, and which finally ends up converted into flats for tourist rental and a branded hamburger restaurant that only serves delivery food. In Divino Pastor, a good part of the dynamics that are marking the processes of urban transformation in advanced economies come together and play out. Starting from the same point, this case gives us the opportunity to link (1) disputes over urban space in the heart of cities with dispossession, in the framework of urban neoliberal policies,
and (2) advanced processes of gentrification that worsen the problem of acces to housing, with phenomena of touristification and gourmetization, more characteristic of the fifth wave, and which in turn (3) are being strongly transformed by the pressure of certain forms of what is known as platform capitalism; new forms of economy and precarious urban work, whose spatial effects collide with the lack of urban regulation tools. Methodologically, we consider this situation as a concrete universal in the Hegelian way, allowing us to understand the general from the particular, and relying on the analysis of data from official sources to contrast what we intuit are trends that came to stay.

Making the argument that it is not an architect’s job to deal with the social inequalities of city building reveals that a moral and ethical professional focus on quality design is not a guarantee of justice. As philosopher Iris Young wrote: “it is very possible to act in accord with rules of morality and yet not have discharged one’s responsibilities.” One might act morally, lawfully and ethically, while still contributing to the persistence of inequality and marginality.
Instead, the possibility of justice lies in breaking rank, by taking direct responsibility for challenging the established ways of doing that facilitate the reproduction of oppression and exclusion in cities.

Our ability to understand data has always lagged behind our ability to collect it. This is particularly true in urban environments, where mass data capture is particularly valuable, but the objects captured are more varied, denser, and complex. Captured data has several problems; it is unstructured (we do not know objects are represented by the data), contains noise (the scanning process is often inaccurate) and omissions (it is often impossible to scan all of an area). To understand the structure and content of the environment, we must process the unstructured data to a structured form.
