History of Education

Local wisdom describes how to behave and act to respond to changes that are unique in thephysical and cultural environment of the local area. The local potential in each region inIndonesia is an asset of natural, human, technological, and cultural resources that must bemaintained and developed to improve a more civilized life. In general, school learning has beenpaying less attention to this local aspect, so that the younger generation slowly starts to leavethe noble values of the local area. The purpose of this article is to outline the form of instillinglocal wisdom through education or school.

El cine ha sido un protagonista intermitente y secundario en la escuela. Desde su invención fue utilizado para ilustrar, documentar y pensar lo curricular a través de las imágenes. Aun así, con igual ahínco se le ha rechazado y apartado de los procesos educativos. Mediante una propuesta histórica, en este texto se plantean siete fenómenos y discursos que explican esta tensión, es decir, las razones, saberes y representaciones que han determinado que el cine carezca de un papel principal en la educación de los niños, niñas y jóvenes. Entre ellos se cuentan el estigma sobre la imagen, la iconoclasia, la tradición visual escolar, algunos planteamientos de la medicina, la psicología, el derecho y la teología, la minusvaloración del cine como un arte y los imaginarios de los docentes que rechazan al cinematógrafo por la forma en que los ha retratado.

Os professores aposentados da UFMG Ângelo Guimarães e Antônio Mendes integram a equipe de colaboradores do Giz desde sua fundação em 2008. O Giz é uma Diretoria de Inovação e Metodologias de Ensino, vinculada à Pró-Reitoria de Graduação da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Há 10 anos, os professores participam de diversas inciativas do Giz, personificando a missão da instituição, no que se refere ao desenvolvimento, à inovação e à colaboração. Tendo como base de formação e campo de atuação a Ciência da Computação e a Engenharia, testemunharam avanços tecnológicos que condizem com os princípios de autonomia e valorização das pessoas. São mais de quatro décadas dedicadas à docência, sendo a última delas de colaboração ininterrupta às práticas educacionais encampadas pelo Giz.

Tarihçilik tarih incelemeleri yapma işi şeklinde tanımlanmaktadır. Tarih felsefesinin konuları arasında bulunan tarihçilik meselesi ve tarihin bir bilim olup olmadığı konusu hala tartışılan bir konudur. Tarihçilik ile ilgili ilk olarak düşünülmesi gereken ise tarih yazıcılığıdır. Batıda tarih yazıcılığı konusu geleneksel olarak Herodotos ve Thukydides ile Eski Yunan’a; Livius, Tacitus ve Plutarkhos ile de Roma İmparatorluğu’na kadar uzanır. İslami gelenekte ise tarihçilik daha çok biyografik çalışmalar şeklinde başlamıştır.
Bu araştırmada yükseköğretim kurumlarında lisansüstü eğitim kapsamında hazırlanmış olan tezler üzerinden tarihçilik ile ilgili bir inceleme yapılmıştır. Çalışma doküman inceleme ve tarama yöntemiyle ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın sınırları ise Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde yapılan taramada elde edilen tamamlanmış olan ve tarihçilik konusunu ele alan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezleridir. Konuyla ilgili ilk çalışma 1996 yılında son çalışma ise 2019 yılında yapılmıştır. Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde bu tarihler arasında tarihçilik ile ilgili bulunan 19 tez incelemeye tabi tutulmuştur. Ancak 2006 yılı öncesindeki tezlerin bir kısmının Yükseköğretim Kurulu tarafından lisansüstü tezlerin sisteme yüklenmesi ile ilgili bir zorunluluk getirilmediği için sisteme yüklenmediği saptanmıştır. Bu tezler TUBES üzerinden temin edilerek incelemeye dahil edilmiştir.
Çalışmada ele alınan problem tarihçilik ile ilgili lisansüstü tezlerde bahsi geçen amaç ya da problem durumuna sonuç bölümünde ulaşılıp ulaşılamadığı ve kendisinden önce konuyla ilgili lisansüstü çalışmalara atıf yapılıp yapılmadığı şeklindedir. Bununla lisansüstü tezlerin amacına ne kadar ulaşabildiği ve kendisinden sonraki çalışmaları ne kadar etkilediği sonucuna ulaşmaktır.

Gandhi ist zwar mit seiner Idee von Nai Talim gescheitert, trotzdem sind darin eine Vielzahl von Ansätzen enthalten, die auch heute - nicht nur in Indien Bedeutung für eine zukunftsgewandten bildungs- und gesellschaftspolitischen Diskurs haben. The Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) school history curriculum of post-apartheid South Africa is littered with sensitive and controversial topics. Many history teachers and their learners do not know how to confront these topics, especially in multiracial, multicultural, and diverse classrooms. Therefore, this paper explores how the idea of decolonial love (Sandoval, 2000; Maldonado-Torres, 2006) could inform alternative creative pedagogies or contribute to existing pedagogical frameworks that history teachers and their learners employ when engaging sensitive and controversial topics. Commonly seen to display military prowess or chivalric virtue, parade armor of the sixteenth century here is considered for its impact on the wearer's own physiology and psychology. Through juxtaposing the ergonomic features of muscle cuirasses and children’s harnesses with courtly etiquette rules, humanist educational regimes, and orthopedic devices in medicine, this paper reveals armor's stakes in fashioning the princely body by means of physical discipline rather than visual representation. Plate armor, by "correcting" posture and mannering comportment, aided in molding an exemplary disposition expected to incite subjects to imitation.

This work presents an analysis proposal based on theorizations regarding comparative systems of reason, cosmopolitanism and the history of school disciplines, seeking to understand how certain objects become subject to reflection and action in the school curriculum from an international perspective. Comparing historical aspects of the teaching of biology in Brazil and Germany, the article presents a discussion of how the environment has increasingly been constituted as a cosmopolitan value in the biology school curriculum. In theoretical and methodological terms, curricular documents and textbooks are treated as historical sources and an analysis of them is articulated with results of a literature review, evidencing how different cultural organizations are combined to make this object intelligible in the present. L’article présente une première contribution à l’analyse de l’utilisation du cinéma dans l’éducation nationale de masse des enfants pendant la période fasciste. Après avoir esquissé les formes de la consommation cinématographique de ce public, l’auteur reconstruit les modalités de la participation du cinéma à l’éducation de l’italiano nuovo, en se référant au rôle de certaines institutions et aux pratiques en usage au sein des organisations scolaires et de jeunesse du régime. Enfin, à partir d’une analyse des traces de la réception retrouvées dans les écrits et les mémoires des enfants, l’article présente une typologie des documentaires et des films de fiction montrés aux mineurs, en examinant les résonances entre les constellations de valeurs qu’ils véhiculent et les principes éducatifs grace auxquels le fascisme souhaitait forger les nouvelles générations.

This article aims to reveal how the value of tolerance is implemented in learning history in high school. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The core informants in this study were history teachers and students at Dharma Karya Jakarta High School which was conducted from April to September 2021. Based on the results of the study it was found that the value of tolerance in history learning was carried out by incorporating tolerance values as a form of multicultural education, values-Multicultural values help students understand controversial material so that they can take positive lessons from a historical event. Toda passagem de um objeto cultural de um contexto para outro tem por consequência uma transformação de seu sentido, uma dinâmica de ressemantização, que só se pode reconhecer plenamente se levarmos em conta os vetores históricos da passagem. Logo, pode-se dizer que a pesquisa sobre as transferências culturais diz respeito à maioria das ciências humanas, mesmo se ela se desenvolveu a partir de uma série de pontos de ancoragem específicos. O estudo das transferências culturais leva a relativizar a importância da comparação e, acima de tudo, a noção de centro. GENDERED TRANSACTIONS  explores diverse aspects related to gender and colonialism in colonial India during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The book is premised on the dual positionality of the European woman within the colonial power structure, consisting simultaneously of power and privilege, as well as gender disadvantage in a masculinist colonial world.
A range of  narratives by memsahibs and missionary, both literary and non-literary are examined.  Their constructions of Indian women of different classes (ayahs, peasants, zenana women), are probed for their  tensions and ambivalences. Additionally scrutinised are colonial health issues, such as female mental health as well as European female health in colonial medical handbooks.  Finally, going across the gendered racial divide, this book scrutinises the fiction of the first generation of western-educated Indian women who wrote in English in the 1890s , exploring their construction of the white woman as well as their negotiations with colonial modernities.

In this article we present the results of the Educative Reports written by D. Sebastião Soares de Resende, the Bishop from Beira, Mozambique. Viewing education like a factor of civilization and development, he insisted the need of integral formation for the black population, beyond the mere instruction rudimentar. As an implementation of Missionary Agreement, every year he should present an informative report of all the activities done by the diocese to the General Governor. The analysis he does about the socioeducative reality turn them into an essential source of knowing the priorities that promoted native teaching and his critics of colonial politics showed to the leader of the Government. In this article we pretend to offer an approximation about the incorporation of women to secondary studies in the high schools of Caceres and Badajoz, known as historic high schools of Extremadura, in the first of the 20th century. Mainly, the principle point of interest has been the knowledge of the evolution that the incorporation of women to secondary education has experimented and the causes that made good or bad to its development. The main purpose of this article is to analyse purges of secondary teachers from a qualitative point of view: ideological basis, legislative control and the stages of the teaching staff purge, and that is the reason why we have divided our work into different sections. We tried the teachers to be who put us in touch with the truth from the analysis of the 2.445 files related to secondary teacher’s purge which are kept in the AGA. goals which lie behind repressive politics and the way they decided to sanction or to exonerate people. A tanulmány röviden bemutatja a gamifikáció (jákosítás) módszerét, majd annak egy alkalmazási lehetőségét az ének-zene tanításban. A módszert olyan 7. osztályokban próbáltuk ki, ahol a tanulók nem tanulták emelt óraszámban az éneket, és nem is tartozott az ének-zene a kedvenc tantárgyaik közé. Az újfajta tanítási módszert a zenei romantika témakörén belül valósítottuk meg három tanórán keresztül. Pedagógiai kísérletünkben kontrollcsoportos vizsgálati elrendezést alkalmaztunk. A gamifikáció tanórai felhasználásával sikerült jelentősen növelni a tanulók motiváltságát. A gamifikáció új módszertani elem lehet az ének-zene tanításában, mellyel a tanárképzésben is érdemes foglalkozni. A tanulmányban bemutatott módszer ötleleteket adhat más tantárgyak tanításához is.

Toen de redactie van het Tijdschrift voor Arbeidsvraagstukken ruim een jaar geleden begon met de voorbereidingen van dit jubileumnummer ter gelegenheid van 25 jaar TvA, leek er haast geen groter contrast denkbaar dan dat tussen de actuele arbeidsmarkt en die van een kwart eeuw geleden. In 1985 bereikte de werkloosheid in Nederland een naoorlogs hoogtepunt van 14% van de beroepsbevolking, terwijl er in 2008 sprake was van een krappe arbeidsmarkt met minder dan 4% werklozen. In 1985 leefde alom de verwachting dat volledige werkgelegenheid definitief uit beeld was verdwenen, terwijl in 2008 juist werd gewaarschuwd voor een dreigend tekort aan arbeidskrachten. Niet schaarste aan werk, maar schaarste aan personeel leek nu de belangrijkste uitdaging voor het sociaaleconomisch beleid.

Das «gute Leben» wurde und wird also in vielfältigen gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhängen in erziehender Absicht fokussiert und auch pädagogisiert. Wie Dynamiken und Schübe der Pädagogisierung des «guten Lebens» in diversen schulischen und ausserschulischen Bereichen im 20.
