Di awal tahun 1900-an fotografer berpikir bahwa mereka harus seperti pelukis dan membuat gambar yang tidak terlihat terlalu nyata. Hingga sampai saat ini fotografi lanskap terus berkembang. Hal tersebut menimbulkan dampak berupa munculnya representasi yang berbeda dari fotografi lanskap. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan membedah foto – foto lanskap baik warna dan hitam putih dari beberapa fotografer di Indonesiadengan menggunakan analisis visual (komposisi, cahaya, warna, dan lain-lain). Berdasarkan analisis visual dari beberapa foto lanskap warna dan hitam putih didapatkan beberapa faktor yaitu cuaca dan cahaya mempengaruhi warna dan gelap terang, pengalaman dan pengetahuan fotografer mempengaruhi hasil foto. Modelling can explore heritage responses to environmental pressures over wide spatial and temporal scales, testing both theory and process. However, compared to other fields, modelling approaches are not yet as common in heritage management. Some heritage models have become well known, though they struggle to have an impact beyond academia, with limited practical applications. Successful models appear to be adaptable to multiple sites or objects, intuitive to use, run using widely available software and produce output translatable into practical actions. Model tuning is also vital for the model to be effective. A specific purpose should be determined from the outset to enable tuning in the earliest design stages. The city of Lima, the capital of Peru, was founded on January 18, 1535, and played a leading role in the history of the Americas from 1542, when king Carlos V established the vice royalty of Peru, until the middle of the 18th century. In 1988, UNESCO declared the historic center of Lima a World Heritage Site for its originality and high concentration of historic monuments constructed at the time of the Spanish presence and at the beginning of the Republican era. The architecture of buildings corresponds in general to typical Hispano-American baroque of the 17th and 18th centuries. Since its founding, the city has suffered many earthquakes that have severely and adversely affected historic buildings. Reconstruction work has been done keeping the originality of buildings. Throughout historical ages, Gaza has been viewed amongst the most important cities of Palestine. The historic centre of Gaza is among the most important sites in the city as it bustles with business activities and is the place of major historic sites, and cultural and architectural legacy in the region. The city of Gaza used to have several public baths which were built to meet the hygiene and health needs of the local inhabitants. Furthermore, they played an important social role as gathering places for socio-cultural events, parties and meetings. It is most unfortunate that a large number of these baths have disappeared, apart from the Samarah bath in Al Zaitoun neighbourhood at the heart of the old city. Desa Kusamba, Kecamatan Dawan, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali merupakan daerah pembuatan garam yang sangat terkenal akan rasa ciri khasnya dan proses pengolahannya yang masih tradisional. Penulisan menggunakan lontar yang telah diwariskan mulai tertinggal digantikan oleh buku dan e-book. The preservation of natural stone heritage is still a major challenge for the scientific community. This topic assumes a greater importance since it impacts economic and socio-cultural values. Recent research has indicated that water action and microorganism activity are among the major contributors to the deterioration of this material. Despite the emergence of new protective solutions in the market, some constraints still need to be overcome. This study aims to contribute to unveiling the effectiveness of innovative commercial coatings on the preservation of natural stone frequently used in built heritage. The present study reports the conservative first aid concerning the human cranium known as the “Skull with Ears”, which is conserved in the crypt of Santa Luciella ai Librai’s church in Naples, Italy. These remains have historically been worshipped by devotees within the cult of the “abandoned souls”. The skulls were “adopted” by the Neapolitan population and treated with particular care in exchange for divine favors. The critical preservation status of the “Skull with ears” required a multidisciplinary approach aimed at defining the taphonomy and anthropological features of the cranium, while determining the state of its conservation by using a multi-analytical approach. Multispectral imaging, 3D modeling, X-ray imaging, microscopical observations, and microbiological tests enabled the documentation of the cranium while assessing this state of conservation. Il progetto “Cimiteri” unisce arte e letteratura. In ogni città in cui viene presentato il progetto viene scelta una figura letteraria che si lega alla tradizione del luogo. Nel caso di Bologna fu scelto Pier Paolo Pasolini, poeta universale, perseguitato per la sua ideologia e il suo temperamento determinato. Un grande artista capace di creare discorsi creativi nella poesia, nella narrativa, nel giornalismo e nel cinema. I temi della vita e della morte, così come quelli della natura e dell'amore, sono ricorrenti nella poesia di Pasolini. Mostrano lo stretto rapporto che esiste tra il percorso di vita del poeta e la sua creazione poetica. Il tema della morte diventa protagonista in numerose occasioni. Il panorama di morte che lo circonda si riflette nelle sue composizioni letterarie e nel suo cinema. Morte e dolore che il poeta cerca di superare attraverso la denuncia e la difesa degli emarginati.

“Cemeteries” project combines art and literature. In each city where the project is presented, a literary figure who is linked to the tradition of the place is chosen. In the case of Bologna, Pier Paolo Pasolini was chosen, a universal poet, persecuted for his ideology and his determined temperament. A great artist capable of creating creative discourses in poetry, fiction, journalism and cinema. The themes of life and death, as well as those of nature and love, are recurrent in Pasolini's poetry. They show the close relationship that exists between the poet's life path and his poetic creation. The theme of death becomes the protagonist on numerous occasions. The panorama of death that surrounds him is reflected in his literary compositions and in his cinema. Death and pain that the poet tries to overcome through the denunciation and defense of the marginalized.

Študija vsebuje nove podatke o stavbni zgodovini cerkve sv. Miklavža na Godešiču in novo ikonografsko analizo poslikave na njeni zahodni fasadi. Cerkev je bila najbrž zgrajena v 12. ali 13. stoletju, prezbiterij pa na začetku 16. stoletja. Fasado je neznani furlanski slikar poslikal konec 14. stoletja, prezbiterij pa Jernej iz Loke pred letom 1531. V dosedanjih raziskavah o poslikavi fasade so bili ohranjeni prizori interpretirani kot razširjena Poslednja sodba. France Stele je nad vhodom v cerkev prepoznal osrednjo skupino Poslednje sodbe, nad njo upodobitev nebes s figuro Boga Očeta ali Abrahama, desno pa še prizor Kolo sreče. Alenka Vodnik je glavni vir za poslikavo iskala v apokrifni Pavlovi apokalipsi, pri čemer naj bi prizor s kolesom predstavljal Peklensko kolo. Ponovni pregled je pokazal drugačno zasnovo: nad Poslednjo sodbo je bilo Marijino kronanje, na desni je bil prizor s sv. Katarino Aleksandrijsko, na levi pa prizor s sv. Nikolajem.

This study focused on identifying the effect of the laser wavelengths used in cleaning some manifestation damage appearing in pigments used on archaeological cartonnage preserved in the Egyptian Museum, Egypt. The manifestations of damage appear as mud, resin, color, dust and microbiological damage stains. Lasers were chosen as one of the modern applications that give good results when cleaning the pigment materials without making direct contact with the material. Accordingly, lasers with a wavelength of 532 and 1064 nm were tested to identify their effect on stains caused by pigments and to choose the best one for use in cases similar to those materials in the future. Town of Banská Bystrica, the middle-size regional centre (less than 80 thousand inhabitants) from central Slovakia has an eccentric geographical position in relation to the rest of the rural self-governing region of Banská Bystrica. This reality has an important impact on the public transport management from the perspective of the region and individual providers. The aim of the study is to identify municipalities and areas of this region which inhabitants are marginalised or excluded from using the public transport services to/from their regional centre. Since 1986, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has undergone tremendous upheavals in urban growth, city planning and market integration. Yet the complex transformations underway in small cities and towns, especially those in uplands regions, and their impacts on residents’ livelihoods, have been relatively ignored to date in the academic literature. Drawing on small cities and everyday politics concepts, we examine the contested relationships between a socialist state bent on completing a major urban make-over for an upland small city, and the reactions and strategies of local residents. From its historical roots as a small border trading post and colonial garrison town in the late 1800s, Lào Cai has now grown to be a key node on the Greater Mekong Sub Regions’ Eastern Corridor.
