Une recherche menée en 2021 dans les archives de l’Académie des sciences, belles-lettres et arts de Lyon, société savante datant du début du xviiie siècle, a mis en évidence un ensemble de textes témoignant de l’existence de liens entre la Russie et Lyon avant la fondation de l’université locale (1896) et avant la création de la première chaire de slavistique lyonnaise (1920). Ces documents sont de trois natures différentes : lettres (de Russie ou sur la Russie), mémoires manuscrits et enfin discours, ayant donné lieu à publication ou non. Parmi ces textes, on trouve trace de deux ardents patriotes russes, l’un venu d’Ukraine et l’autre de Pologne. Le médecin Danilo Samojlovič (1742-1805) devient en 1785 associé de l’Académie de Lyon pour assurer la promotion et la diffusion de ses idées nouvelles sur le traitement de la peste. Objective To describe the clinical activities at the Neuroimmunology Clinic of the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP) from 1994 to 2013. Method The final diagnosis of all patients that attended the center was reviewed and established upon specific guidelines for each disease. The number of total appointments and extra clinical activities (reports and prescriptions) were also analyzed, as are part of routine activities. Results 1,599 patients attended the Clinic from 1994 to 2013: 816 with multiple sclerosis (MS), 172 with clinical isolated syndromes, 178 with neuromyelitis optica (NMO), 216 with other demyelinating disease, 20 with metabolic disorder, 42 with a vascular disease and 155 with other or undetermined diagnosis. A mean 219 outpatient visits and 65 extra clinical activities were performed monthly. Conclusion We identified that 15% of patients seen have NMO. The archival inventory is the highest expression of archival work. It is the most complex and articulated finding aid. To write an archival inventory, it is necessary to deeply understand records in the archive and its creator. The arrangement that is painstakingly achieved through a reordering and inventorying intervention, and then presented in the form of an archival inventory, can be read not so much as a descriptive axiom, but as an open threshold to potential new universes largely unexpressed. In other words, the inventory can only be thought of as the beginning and not the end of an archival practice.

Loss-of-function mutations in GRN cause frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD). Patients with GRN mutations present with a uniform subtype of TAR DNA-binding protein 43 (TDP-43) pathology at autopsy (FTLD-TDP type A); however, age at onset and clinical presentation are variable, even within families. We aimed to identify potential genetic modifiers of disease onset and disease risk in GRN mutation carriers. The study was done in three stages: a discovery stage, a replication stage, and a meta-analysis of the discovery and replication data. In the discovery stage, genome-wide logistic and linear regression analyses were done to test the association of genetic variants with disease risk (case or control status) and age at onset in patients with a GRN mutation and controls free of neurodegenerative disorders. A discussion panel devoted to archives and archivists with the participation of classics of postmodernism is a joke prepared on the occasion of Archivist Day.. Umberto Eco, Jacques Derrida, Michel Foucault, Zygmunt Bauman, Roland Barthes, Jean Baudrillard and Marshall McLuhan never met at a symposium on archival science. At least in mortal life. But if such a discussion panel devoted to archives and archivists were to take place, the following statements could be made by them, showing the trends in which global archival science has been developing over the last decades. We will also find there echoes of probably all "post-modern", or even "post-post-modern", ideas emerging and existing in Polish archival science.

Primary cutaneous CD4-positive smallto medium-sized pleomorphic T-cell lymphoma is a provisional entity in the 2005 WHO-EORTC classification for cutaneous lymphomas. It is a rare condition and, in most cases, it has a favorable clinical course and prognosis. Primary cutaneous CD4-positive small/medium pleomorphic T-cell lymphoma (PCSM-TCL) is defined as a cutaneous T-cell lymphoma with predominantly smallto medium-sized CD4-positive pleomorphic T-cells without a history of patches and plaques typical of mycosis fungoides. PCSM-TCL usually presents as a solitary plaque or tumor on the head, neck, trunk or upper extremities and it is considered to have indolent clinical behavior. Histologically, it is characterized by a dense infiltration of small/medium-sized pleomorphic T-cells that involves the entire dermal thickness, often with nodular extension into the hypodermis. Sweet potato is a food security crop because of its ability to withstand adverse climatic conditions. This security, however, is being threaten by viral diseases and use of resistant cultivars remain the best management. This research was conducted to screen cultivars of sweet potato against sweet potato feathery mottle virus (SPFMV) infection. The treatments consisted of five cultivars coded as CV1, CV2, CV3, CV4 and CV5, respectively. The asymptomatic experimental plants were established, maintained under screen house conditions and graft-inoculated using infected vines which were tested SPFMV positive using both Double Antibody Sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (DAS-ELISA) and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). Background: Tunisia is a North African country of 10 million inhabitants. The native background population is Berber. However, throughout its history, Tunisia has been the site of invasions and migratory waves of allogenic populations and ethnic groups such as Phoenicians, Romans, Vandals, Arabs, Ottomans and French. Like neighbouring and Middle Eastern countries, the Tunisian population shows a relatively high rate of consanguinity and endogamy that favor expression of recessive genetic disorders at relatively high rates. Many factors could contribute to the recurrence of monogenic morbid trait expression. Among them, founder mutations that arise in one ancestral individual and diffuse through generations in isolated communities.
